Kids Acoustic Guitar – Six Things to Know Before you Purchase
Learning to play an instrument is an experience that every child should have. An acoustic guitar is a great place to start. But you need to get a feel for the guitar so go into the nearest store and try one for size and quality.
Sound Quality
If the quality of the sound of the instrument is sweet to the ear you will want to play more often. Costs vary a great deal but you can expect to pay at up to $100 for a reasonable starter acoustic guitar. You need a good reason to pay more a $100. If your child is starting out and this is their first guitar, don't splash out until they get more proficient and want to continue. Then you might consider purchasing a more expensive guitar.

You do not have to pay for basic lessons. Jump online and track down some video tutorials to get the basics. You need to learn the parts of the guitar, how to tune a guitar, basic chords structure, how to strum and how to shift from chord to chord.
