why won't my floyd stay in tune?
i just got a new floyd rose ORIGINAL made by the greatest, Schaller from germany. i replaced my old one because it is a cheap immitation that stayed in tune very poorly. the problem before i got the new one was that every time i pull down, then let it back up, it sounds flat. and every time i pull up, it sounds sharp. now i'm starting to experience problems like these on my new floyd. (Note: i kept my old mounting posts in, because the new ones were slightly small)
IS THIS NORMAL? will it always be a little flat or a little sharp???

This is NOT normal. I have a few Ibanez RGs with licensed Floyds. I can play one every day (hard, speed picking and dive bombing all night) and only tune it once a week.
I assume you have a locking nut? If not, that is what is causing the problem.
